Scotland Aero Services, Inc. is owned by Randy Hoffman and John McRae. Randy serves as manager and John gives flight instruction. We operate at the Laurinburg-Maxton Airport (MEB). We grew up together and are natives of the area. Randy was a marketing and quality-control manager in the glass-making industry for twenty-five years. John has been a professional pilot for those same years.

Scotland Aero Services, Inc. is new, but its owners are not. We have a great deal of experience in business and flying with deep roots in Scotland County. Many flight instructors are youngsters building time for the airlines. The turnover in flight instructors at some schools causes significant problems for students. This is not the case with us. Your flight instructor is a full-time flight instructor. Having been a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, owning his own crop dusting business for 14 years, a private pilot for a large corporation and a Captain for U.S.Air, John McRae has gained invaluable cockpit experience and flight time.
