The Gulfstream Aerospace G700 business jet is making its Singapore Airshow debut this month. The aviation company’s G600 executive jet is also appearing at the biennial show at the Changi Exhibition Centre.

Both jets can seat up to 19 passengers, have won International Yacht & Aviation Awards, and have established dozens of world speed records.

“The long-range advantage of the Gulfstream G700 and G600 is incredibly important to customers in the Asia-Pacific region,” says Scott Neal, Gulfstream senior vice president of worldwide sales. “We look forward to showcasing these record-setting aircraft at the Singapore Air Show so customers can experience firsthand their unmatched performance, innovative design, and exceptional comfort.”

    The G600 & G700 Go The Distance

Introduced in 2019, the G700 has a 7,750-nautical-mile (14,353-kilometer) maximum flight range that enables nonstop flights such as Singapore to London at Mach 0.87. The plane’s maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935 makes it the fastest aircraft in the Gulfstream fleet.

The G600 can fly nonstop between destinations such as Singapore and Istanbul thanks to its 6,600-nm (12,223-km) range. The jet, which Gulfstream says provides class-leading fuel efficiency, completed the world’s first trans-Atlantic flight using 100% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in November 2023.

    Standout G700 Features

The G700 is known for its all-new ultra-large cabin, which Gulfstream says is the industry’s most spacious, innovative, and flexible. Customers can configure the cabin with up to five living areas, including the industry’s only ultra galley, with more than 10 feet (3 meters) of counter space.

The jet also boasts the industry’s lowest cabin altitude of 2,840 ft (866 m) when flying at 41,000 ft (12,497 m). The G700’s twin Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines give the aircraft a high cruise speed of Mach 0.90 and a long-range cruise speed of Mach 0.85.

    The Extremely Quiet G600

The G600 features a clean-sheet design and offers up to four living areas in a cabin Gulfstream designed to be business aviation’s quietest. The cabin interior measures 51.3 ft (15.6 m) long. Fourteen panoramic windows, which Gulfstream says lead the sector in size, allow plenty of natural light to pour in.

The G600 has twin Pratt & Whitney PW815GA engines that power it to a maximum speed of Mach 0.925, a maximum cruise speed of Mach 0.90, and a long-range cruise speed of Mach 0.85.

The G600 and G700 both leverage a next-generation Symmetry Flight Deck with active control sidesticks, 10 touchscreen displays, the Gulfstream Enhanced Flight Vision System, and Phase-of-Flight technology.
