Commercial and business jet manufacturer Bombardier recently tabbed TAG Aviation Europe, a global leader in private and business aviation services, as the first company to offer Bombardier’s 16-passenger Global 5000 business jet with the company’s Premier cabin for charter to European customers. Bombardier notes the Premier cabin was inspired by the Global 7500 business jet, a Red Dot Award recipient. The company began outfitting Global 5000 and Global 6000 models with the cabin last year.

    A New Level Of Refinement

TAG Aviation Europe will operate the Global 5000 out of Paris. Bombardier states the addition of the Global 5000 brings TAG Aviation’s European managed fleet of business jets to nine aircraft total since TAG received an AOC (Air Operators Certificate) last year from Transport Malta. TAG already held AOCs in Switzerland, the U.K., and Bahrein. The company plans to add more aircraft yet this year.

“The Global 5000 business jet featuring the Premier cabin represents a new level of refinement, while delivering the industry’s smoothest ride,” said Emmanuel Bornand, Bombardier Business Aircraft regional vice president of sales of Western Europe, in a news release. Florent Series, TAG Aviation Europe vice president of sales and marketing, added that his company is “extremely pleased” to be the first to make the “prestigious, high-performance Global 5000 business jet available” to European customers.

    “Striking Aesthetics”

Bombardier describes the Premier cabin as offering “striking aesthetics and ergonomic innovations” and “blending contemporary design, sumptuous materials, and flawless craftsmanship with exceptional comfort, spaciousness, and productivity.” Making its maiden flight in 2003, the Global 5000 features a three-zone cabin, 5,200-nautical mile (9,630-kilometer) range at Mach 0.85, and an ability to connect London to Seoul non-stop.
