You can search Aircraft.com by tail number, make, or model to find information about individual planes and helicopters, including model year, specifications, registration and serial numbers, airframe time, avionics, and more.

Perhaps you’re collecting information ahead of an aircraft purchase or fleet procurement. Or maybe you’re researching a project or simply love to learn about the flying machines of the wild blue yonder. Whatever your pursuit, you’ll discover abundant info on Aircraft.com.

The site is ideal for aircraft buyers and sellers, charter customers, operators, brokers, and aviation enthusiasts. Aircraft.com offers photos and historical data covering more than 415,000 individual aircraft and related items, including specific business jets, single- and twin-engine piston aircraft, light sport aircraft, and helicopters. There is even information about experimental and homebuilt aircraft.

There is no cost to use the site. If you register, you can contribute your own aircraft photos to help the database grow.

    A Wealth Of Aircraft Information

From the Aircraft.com homepage, you can search by tail number, make, or model, view the latest additions to the site, or browse by category or manufacturer links. The site also provides suggestions for similar aircraft you can view for comparison.

Each aircraft page includes manufacturer, model, and model year information as well as registration and serial numbers, airframe time, and an overall description. Additional information can include engine specifications, flight deck manufacturer and model, avionics, seating capacity, interior and exterior details, additional photos, and more. You may find inspection status and maintenance record details included as well.

A search field at the top of every Aircraft.com page lets users search for specific aircraft by tail number, manufacturer, model, or type. See the most recent airframes added to Aircraft.com by clicking the View All Latest Added Aircraft link on the homepage. Links to aircraft categories and approximately 500 manufacturers make it easy to find what you’re looking for. Aircraft.com is just as informative and easy to use on a phone or tablet as on a laptop or desktop.

    Buyer & Traveler Tools

To learn more about an aircraft’s operating costs, click the Aircraft Cost Calculator link on its detail page. ACC is a subscription-based cost projection service that provides estimates for fuel, maintenance, crew, insurance, and other expenses associated with owning the plane or helicopter.

An aircraft’s detail page may have additional images, plus a link if it’s currently listed for sale on Controller.com. The for-sale listing may feature additional photos and will give you contact information for the seller.

Aircraft.com also includes links to similar aircraft available for charter on CharterHub.com, where you can browse and book charter flights, request quotes, view empty-leg flight options, and locate fixed base operators (FBOs) for future journeys.
