Bombardier, manufacturer of business and commercial jets, continues making the rounds with its upcoming Learjet 75 Liberty corporate light jet that is scheduled to begin delivery in mid-2020. Following the debut of a full-size interior mockup of the jet at the NBAA-BACE (National Business Aviation Association-Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition) in October, Bombardier will make the mockup available for private, by-appointment viewing December 27th to 29th at Ross Aviation in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Bombardier first announced the Learjet 75 Liberty in July for a $9.9 million list price. The company says the 75 Liberty is the light jet segment’s first entry equipped with an Executive Suite. Situated at the cabin’s front, the area provides two forward-facing seats along with nearly 3 feet (0.91 meters) of legroom, 25-inch (64-centimeter) retractable side tables, oversized stowable ottomans, power outlets, and more. At NBAA-BACE, the mockup appeared at Bombardier’s static display. Following NBAA-BACE, Bombardier sent the mockup to Wings Wheels Water, the kickoff event for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show held in late October.

“The success of the Learjet 75 Liberty mockup reflects a strong desire from the market for a light jet that offers more—more comfort, more power, and more range, says Peter Likoray, Bombardier Business Aircraft senior vice president, worldwide sales and marketing. “Bombardier is proud to offer the world’s best-performing light jet at a price point and operating costs that make it accessible to more customers than ever before.”

    Greater Range & Speed

In addition to providing longer range than the competition, Bombardier say the Liberty 75 is the light jet segment’s fastest. The jet has a 2,080-nautical-mile (3,852-kilometer) maximum range, and Mach 0.81 top speed. The jet is also certified to Federal Aviation Administration Part 25 regulations (applicable to commercial airlines), unlike most competitors certified to Part 23 regulations, Bombardier says.

You’ll find a big selection of new and used Learjet business jets for sale every day on Controller.com, as well as a number of Bombardier Global and Bombardier Challenger aircraft.
