Embraer Marks Milestone With 250th Jet Delivery In Latin America
Embraer recently announced that it has reached 250 jet deliveries in Latin America with the completion of the deliveries of a Phenom 100EV and a Phenom 300E in the company’s home country of Brazil. An industrial company took the Phenom 100EV to help maintain business operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, while the Phenom 300E went to an agribusiness company; both are first-time jet buyers. The Phenoms will give the companies access to point-to-point transport, seen by many as preferable during the pandemic, and are equipped with an air management system that completely cycles the air onboard every two minutes. The jets’ interiors are designed with low-touch surfaces, and Embraer has approved the use of MicroShield360, a preventative coating that, when applied to an aircraft interior, continuously inhibits the growth of microbes on surfaces.
About The Phenom 100EV
This single-pilot-certified aircraft, seen as an entry-level jet, features the Oval Lite cross section to give it the tallest and widest cabin in its class. The Phenom 100EV is also noted for its large baggage compartment, private rear lavatory, and airstair most often seen in larger aircraft. The 100EV has a four-occupant range of 1,178 nautical miles (2,182 kilometers) with NBAA IFR reserves; it’s equipped with modified Pratt & Whitney Canada PW617F1-E engines that generate 1,730 pounds of thrust, giving the jet a top cruise speed of 405 ktas.
About The Phenom 300E
The Phenom 300E is the fastest single-pilot-certified light jet in the industry, capable of reaching Mach 0.80, and has the longest range in the category with a five-occupant range of 2,010 nm (3,722 km) with NBAA IFR reserves. The aircraft also features the industry’s first runway overrun awareness and alerting system and best-in-class cabin pressurization with 6,600-foot maximum cabin altitude. For the passengers, the Phenom 300E provides a large cabin and baggage compartment, private lavatory, wardrobe, refreshment center, entertainment center, and reclining seats.
