Latitude 33 Aviation Receives Brand New Bombardier Challenger 350, Now Available For Private Charter
Bombardier has delivered a factory-new Challenger 350 business jet to California-based Latitude 33 Aviation. The private jet charter, executive jet management, and aircraft sales and acquisition company will manage and make the jet available for charter out of San Diego on behalf of its new owner. Founded in San Diego in 2006, Latitude 33 claims to manage of one of North America’s newest and largest fleets of light, midsize, and super-midsize aircraft. In addition to several Challenger models, the company’s private charter fleet includes Cessna, Embraer, and Pilatus aircraft.
Now Departing San Diego
Bombardier entered the 10-passenger Challenger 350 into service in 2014, and recently surpassed 350 total deliveries. The aircraft held a 43% share of the super-midsize market in 2019, and has been the segment’s most-delivered model for six consecutive years, Bombardier says. The jet is also enjoying increased popularity in California, where it made up 60% of super-midsize deliveries in the state from 2017 to the third quarter of 2020. The Challenger 350 provides a 3,200-nautical-mile (5,926-kilometer) range and a top speed of Mach 0.83 to go along with what Bombardier says is the largest and quietest cabin in the super-midsized class.
Latitude 33, meanwhile, manages more than 30 client-owned private business jets stationed primarily throughout California but also in Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington. Out of San Diego, the newly delivered Challenger 350 can fly eight people to New York or Hawaii nonstop as well as handle flights to nearby high-elevation ski resorts and other designations with variable weather.
“We are pleased to have provided another exceptional acceptance experience for our client and are privileged to have this extraordinary aircraft join our growing fleet of super-midsize aircraft,” says Solomon Short, Latitude 33 director of operations.
